United Airlines has dropped the price of their flights from Calgary to Taipei, Taiwan on a large number of dates throughout the year down to $653 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
Most flights have 2 stops on the way there, and some flights have 1 stop on the way home. Los Angeles and San Francisco are the most common connections.
You can find flights for as low as $598 CAD roundtrip, but they have a 17 hour layover in San Francisco.
Availability for travel
late March, April, May, August, September, October, November, December 2018
January, February 2019
October, November, December, and January are generally considered good months to visit Taiwan.
How to find and book this deal
1. Try this Google Flights search:
Google Flights: Calgary to Taipei, Taiwan
- click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations
- look for the dates that are $691 roundtrip
2. Go to Momondo or Budget Air
- Search for a flight from Calgary (YYC) to Taipei, Taiwan (TPE)
- use the same dates you found on Google Flights
TIP: Once your Momondo search completes, try moving the Max Flight Duration slider on the left down to around 43, to filter out flights with overnight layovers.

Update 4/12 - Flights from Calgary to Taipei, Taiwan are available again for $672 CAD roundtrip inclding taxes. There are now dates as far away as February 2019.
