United Airlines has dropped the price of their flights from Calgary to Sydney and Melbourne, Australia down to between $840 and $850 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop each way, in Los Angeles or San Francisco.
In the last few years, there have been better deals than this to Australia, particularly with Qantas. But this is the best deal there has been from Calgary to Australia since early 2019.
Update 10/8 - These are back.

3. Go to Skyscanner
- search for a flight from Calgary (YYC) to...
Sydney (SYD)
or
Melbourne (MEL)
- use the same dates you found on Google Flights
- the price on Skyscanner will usually be around $75 cheaper than what you see on Google Flights.

We booked these last night right after we got the email
Couldn't find the $850 flights but we were happy with paying $1035 - still cheaper than what we had been expecting to pay for Feb flights.
