Calgary to Santiago, Chile - $571 to $640 CAD roundtrip | but long layovers

Aeromexico has dropped the price of a few of their flights from Calgary to Santiago, Chile down to between $571 and $640 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 2 stops each way, in Vancouver and Mexico City.
The flights have at least one long layover (usually on the way home), in Mexico City, for either 13 or 20 hours.
Update: There are now a few dates in June for $640 roundtrip *without* a really long layover in Mexico City. They have a 2-3 hour layover in Vancouver, and a 3-4 hour layover in Mexico City. Look for the (new!) dates listed below.
