The flights have 1 stop each way, in Dallas, for about 2.5 hours.
Dry season dates are available (March, April, early May).
There are are also a few dates in the first half of December 2020 for $20 more.

This is an awesome price for flights from YYC to Costa Rica, but note that prime season is coming to an end. While still lots of great places to be in Costa Rica during this period, the dry season is coming to an end. The humidity is building and the rainy season usually starts in April.
