It's definitely rare to see flights from Calgary to Bali, Indonesia drop into the $900s CAD roundtrip.
Availability for travel
April to early June 2016 for Bali.
April to early June and mid August to early November 2016 for other places in SE Asia (see below).
April-May can be good months to visit Bali. April is generally the start of dry season.
The flights have a stop in Vancouver and Taiwan. Pretty quick as far as getting to Bali goes.
