American Airlines has dropped the price of their flights from Calgary to Auckland, New Zealand down to $1074 CAD roundtrip including taxes.

The flights have 2 stops each way (Los Angeles and Dallas).

Pre-pandemic, you would sometimes see flights to New Zealand drop down below $1000 CAD roundtrip on rare occasion.

These days, $1500-$1700 roundtrip is about as low as they usually go.

These 2 stop flights with American Airlines certainly aren't the fastest flights from Calgary to New Zealand. They take an extra 10 hours compared to a 1 stop flight through Vancouver.

You can find a few of those fast flights for $1634 CAD roundtrip with Air Canada in February and March.
