Yeah, sometimes I get carried away with alliteration.
There's a few other pretty awesome deals to Mexico over May long weekend that have just popped up.
First there's a flight + hotel package (not including food or drinks) to Mazatlan that is down to $491/person after tax.
It's to the Las Flores Beach Resort which gets pretty decent reviews on TripAdvisor. Overall I'd place the quality level at average.
It's for 7 nights and leaves on May 21. Here's the direct link to the package.
The other good deal is an all inclusive package, which does include food + drinks (and flight + hotel obviously) to the El Cid Granada, also in Mazatlan. It's dropped down to $721/person after tax and departs on May 21 as well, also for 7 nights.

The El Cid Granada is a very nice resort as you can see from the reviews on TripAdvisor. Something interesting though, if you read the latest reviews about the Granada on TripAdvisor, it looks like a lot of people are getting free upgrades to El Cid's sister properties on arrival which are even nicer. No guarantee of that of course, but it does seem like a good possibility.
