Calgary to Osaka, Japan - $722 roundtrip including taxes | 26 minute, $8 train ride to Kyoto

Air Canada is having an unadvertised sale on some flights from Calgary to Osaka, Japan (KIX) for $722 CAD roundtrip including taxes. This is a good 30% below the typical best roundtrip prices to Japan these days.
Available dates
It looks to be sporadic dates in May, June and in late August to mid October that have dropped.
From Osaka, it's a 26 minute train ride ($8) to the beautiful city of Kyoto if you use the special rapid trains on the JR Kyoto Line.
How to find and book these flights
1. Here are some example searches from Kayak. These are date combinations that are showing up at $722. There are quite a few others in other months in the $800s, but not as many in the $700s.
Update 1 - Wed May 6 @ 9:10 AM - Taking a look this morning, it looks like prices have increased to $815.
Update 2 - Wed May 6 @ 9:21 AM - A few dates are still available for $754 CAD if you book in $USD through Airfare.com. It works out to $754 CAD on your credit card after conversion. Examples: Aug 25 to Sep 09 - Sep 30 to Oct 14 -

NOTE: The Vancouver - Osaka portion is operated by Air Canada Rouge. The typical warning about Rouge applies as always (no seat back entertainment, smaller seats) but the Rouge flights from Vancouver to Japan are apparently better than they are to other Rouge destinations.
Here's what someone who has flown Rouge on this route has to say:
"Just a note flying Rouge isn't so bad if flying in the 767. It's very comparable and the seats are a slightly wider than that of the new Air Canada 787s that fly to Tokyo.
767 - 30 pitch / 17.5 width.
787 - 31 pitch / 17.3 width."

Update 3 - More madness to Osaka!
It now looks like there are flights from Calgary to Osaka's ITM airport for a similar price, BUT using Japan Airlines! (Japan Airlines is a very good airline).
The Calgary - Vancouver segments are operated by either WestJet or Air Canada. The Vancouver - Tokyo and Tokyo - Osaka segments are operated by Japan Airlines.
Here are some searches on Kayak that are bringing up roundtrip prices in the $700s.
