UPDATE: Whoops, sorry folks, it turns out Flight Centre is trying to pull a fast one on people. The details on their promo page make it look like the deal involves only the airfare, but I've heard from a few people that called in that have said that the '$50 off' only applies when booking a hotel at the same time.
This is actually somewhat similar to the 'Don't fall for the '$128 for 2 roundtrip flights' OneStopTravel scam that I blogged about in September, where a company tries to make it look like you're getting a deal on the airfare, when in fact you're not.
Sorry about that everyone, I wouldn't have posted it if I had known you had to book a hotel at the same time to get the $50 off.

There's an interesting offer over at Flight Centre for $50 off U.S. destinations served by Air Canada.
Taking another $50 off of prices to Hawaii and Los Angeles that are already at their usual bottom makes them pretty attractive. New York at $407 roundtrip is also pretty decent.

There's a huge fare war to Amsterdam (AMS) going on at the moment. You do see the occasional charter flight on Air Transat to Amsterdam that drops down to this level, but it's extremely rare to see nearly all the major airlines drop a price to Europe like this that affects such a large range of dates.

Update: Westjet looks to have just matched the Air Canada sale. Today looks to be an amazing day for inter-Canada travel prices.
Westjet doesn't seem to have an official page up yet about their sale, they're probably scrambling to get their prices changed to match Air Canada.
