Air Transat has dropped the price of their fall flights to London Gatwick down to $629 roundtrip after tax.

A pair of economists has found that the best time for UK travelers to purchase airfare tickets is 8 weeks ahead. They also found that booking in the afternoon, rather than the morning, seems to be cheaper.

Air Transat's flight to Glasgow, Scotland has dropped to $682 roundtrip after tax, Sep 22-29.

Both WestJet and Air Canada have quite decent prices to Bridgetown, Barbados at the moment ($540 roundtrip after tax).

Update: Looks like this is part of a price war between Delta and United for not only flights to Phoenix, but to Charlotte, North Carolina and Philadelphia as well. All 3 cities are available throughout the calendar year, including Christmas, for around $320 roundtrip after tax.

Allegiant Air (out of Kalispell) now has some flights in September for closer to $100 roundtrip after tax to Las Vegas and back.
