Calgary to Cities in France (or Amsterdam) - $575 to $643 CAD roundtrip including taxes

The Star Alliance has dropped the price of their their off-season flights from Calgary to various cities in France down to between $567 and $643 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights are with Air Canada and Lufthansa, with 1 stop in Montreal, Chicago, or Frankfurt each way. In some cases the Calgary-Frankfurt leg is operated by Discover Airlines (now that Air Canada will no longer be operating this route).
Most notable are the price drops to places like Toulouse, Lyon, Nice, and Marseille, which haven't seen great fares in many years.
Paris is a little less notable as you can often find nonstop flight deals in the $700s and $800s roundtrip. In fact right now you can find them for $589 roundtrip with WestJet.
You can also find 1-stop flights to Amsterdam in the low $600s with this deal. But again, keep in mind that KLM recently dropped their nonstop flights down to $636 roundtrip.
Calgary to Lisbon or Porto, Portugal is available for $769-$797 CAD roundtrip with Air Canada.
You could also purchase an additional roundtrip flight from a major hub city like Paris or Amsterdam and fly to somewhere warmer in the Mediterranean and still keep the price for both flights under $775 CAD roundtrip (see below).

I've been waiting a long time for this! Turkey has always been near the top of my list of places on this planet that I want to check out (and it's a long list). Fares are *never* cheap though, and usually hover around a minimum of $1300-$1400 roundtrip after taxes.

Huge fare war from Calgary to Amsterdam - $616 roundtrip after taxes - affecting fares up to May 2012

There's a huge fare war to Amsterdam (AMS) going on at the moment. You do see the occasional charter flight on Air Transat to Amsterdam that drops down to this level, but it's extremely rare to see nearly all the major airlines drop a price to Europe like this that affects such a large range of dates.
